After he accidentally sets his misanthropic sister up with a violent psychopath, an altruistic brother attempts to undo a relationship that's quickly spiraling into his worst nightmare: true love. *The scene above takes place in Act One; after the psychopath reveal and before the love.*
ELLIE

Rightfully bitter after her failed engagement (one which ended violently when her anger-prone father attacked her fiance with a butter knife), Ellie has checked-out from a healthy existence, actively living in squalor in a small basement apartment by the shore and eating copious amounts of Captain Crunch. Now that her father has passed, she’s beginning to realize that while the world is cruel, she has the capacity to be much crueler.
HENRY
played by Mike Tumbles
Eternally hopeful and lacking any common sense, Henry just wants to see his sister live again. But though his actions have always been well-intentioned, they’ve always yielded terrible results. In fact, every one of his problems can be traced directly back to his pure intentions. And now it’s come to this… a lukewarm bag of peas held over a black eye and a series of catastrophes waiting to happen.
